According to Paultan, Korean car company Kia has chosen Southeast Asia’s leading auto exhibition as the place to launch the EV5 electric car model.
Specifically, EV5 is distributed in Thailand with four versions:
Lite Standard FWD costs 34,300 USD (equivalent to 850 million VND).
Air Standard FWD costs 37,000 USD (equivalent to 916 million VND).
Earth Long Range FWD costs 42,600 USD (equivalent to 1.05 billion VND).
Earth Exclusive Performance AWD costs 48,000 USD (equivalent to 1.19 billion VND).
The EV5 is described as a shortened version of the `elder` EV9, a large electric SUV from Kia, but with a more impressive and powerful steering wheel.

The interior of the EV5 is inspired by the EV9 with a similar dashboard, including two 12.3-inch screens on the dashboard for the instrument cluster and entertainment system, and a separate 5-inch screen.
Kia equips the EV5 with two types of electric drive systems: RWD and AWD.
The EV5 is equipped with two lithium-ion battery options:
64.2 kWh battery for a range of up to 490 km per full charge, for two low-end versions;
The 88.1 kWh battery provides a range of up to 665 km for the Long Range version and 620 km for the Exclusive AWD version.
