At the 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show not long ago, Haval representatives revealed plans to launch the small SUV Jolion in the Vietnamese market at the end of April this year.
According to previously announced information, Haval Jolion for the Vietnamese market will be imported completely from Thailand with two versions: Pro and Ultra.
This promises to create a new wave in the B-size SUV segment in Vietnam, where Jolion not only competes on price but also on advanced equipment and technology.
Although positioned in the B-size SUV segment, Haval Jolion has quite large dimensions, even equivalent to C-size SUV models. Specifically, the car’s length x width x height parameters are 4,472 respectively.
Details about the Haval Jolion’s equipment in Vietnam have not yet been revealed. However, in Thailand, the equipment of this car model is quite diverse and comfortable.
On the exterior, Jolion in Thailand is equipped with LED lighting system around the car, automatic headlights, electric rearview mirrors that automatically fold when the door is locked, and 17-inch alloy rims for the Pro version.
The car’s interior is equally impressive with synthetic leather seats and steering wheel, 6-way power adjustable and cooled driver’s seat, 7-inch digital dashboard, 10.25-inch central touch screen support.
The Ultra version even has an anti-glare mirror, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a HUD screen, wireless charging and a PM2.5 air filtration system.
In terms of safety, the Pro version has standard equipment such as 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam steering assist, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, forward collision warning, and traffic warning.
The Ultra version adds a 360-degree camera, smart parking assistance system, 6 front/rear parking assist sensors and automatic emergency braking, avoiding collisions with large vehicles in the adjacent lane and the scene.
Jolion’s hybrid powertrain includes a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor and DHT automatic transmission, producing a total capacity of 186 horsepower and maximum torque of 375 Nm.
From the beginning of April 2024, Haval Vietnam has started accepting deposits for Jolion.
